Library Rules

Internet Facility:

• This facility is available to all the registered users of the Library only.
• Access to Internet is restricted to educational purpose only.
• Users must produce the Institute ID card in order to avail this facility. It is non-transferable.
• Administrative action may be taken in case of any misuse.

Material not for loan:

Reference Books, Serial publications, Thesis & Dissertations, CD/DVD, Loose Issue and Bound volumes of periodicals.
However, this material will be accessible within the Library.

General Rules and Regulations:

• Members shall observe silence & Maintain discipline in the Library.
• Do not misplace the books on racks as these are arranged in a classified manner.
• Identity card is mandatory and nontransferable for issuing the books.
• Maximum 2 books will be issued for the period of 15 days. A penalty of Rs. 2/- will be charged for late return of books.
• Do not take your belongings & issued, personal books inside the Library.
• Stop at the exit for check of issued books.
• Readers should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage library resources in any way. If anyone is found doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource.
• Books borrowed should be protected from RAIN, DUST, INSECT etc.
• In case of loss of book, the new copy of same book (latest edition) is to be submitted.
• Beverages and eatables are not allowed inside the Library.
• Use of mobile phone inside the library is strictly prohibited.
• Respect and Care for the books as these are your real friends.
