The Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture, and Design Nagpur, under the leadership of Director Dr. Nandini Kulkarni, successfully held the Industry-Academia Conclave 2024 on 18th October 2024. This crucial event took place offline at the SIU Auditorium. It was not just limited to SSPAD students; the event saw participation from aspiring designers and students from various schools and junior colleges in Nagpur, including attendees from students inside the SIU Nagpur campus. This initiative, organized by the Training and Placement Cell, was aimed at strengthening the ties between the industry and academia.

The conclave's primary goal is to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs by fostering collaborative research and creative ideation efforts. It provided students with a structured pathway to enter their chosen professions. One of the key highlights of the event was the opportunity for our students to gain industry exposure by interacting with various industry professionals through a roundtable Podcast. The event was a grand success, with over 300 participants engaging in the discussions and activities, benefitting from valuable insights and networking opportunities
