The ABC is relevant in the following contexts:

1. Facilitation of multiple entries and multiple exits for students by storing student credits for a minimum shelf life of 7 years and transferring credit through a single window after approval of the source and destination academic institution.
2. It is purported to be the single window to validate academic credentials like a Certificate, diploma, or degree of any student. Going forward, any employer or academic institution which wishes to verify the certificates/diplomas and degrees submitted by students will validate the same from this portal.
