Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent
OR
10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% aggregate marks obtained in the final examination to be eligible for the above-mentioned programme.
- A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma programme may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to be eligible for the above mentioned programme.
Nagpur Domicile:
- 25% (Twenty-five percent) seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in Nagpur.
Meaning of "Nagpur Domiciled" Candidates for admission to UG programmes:
"Nagpur Domiciled" means persons, who are domiciled in Nagpur for a period of 5 (five) years as on the date of commencement of the academic year, and who have class XII from Maharashtra State Board or equivalent exam or Degree certificate or are appearing for the qualifying examination of Nagpur University before admission to the programme.
1) Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority (Collector`s office).
2) Standard XIIth Marksheet. Applicants appearing Standard XII can submit Bonafide certificate from the current institution and Standard Xth Mark sheet.
3) Last five year education documents which prove the Nagpur domicile category
Desirable:
The candidate should possess Creative Aptitude & Skills necessary to pursue Design Education as well as adoptability to the situations, which the profession demands. Candidates with the relevant portfolio would be preferred.
