MASTER OF DESIGN (M. Des.)

M. Des. in Communication Design

Master of Design (M. Des.) is a two year post graduate degree programme being offered by Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design. The course will be offered in the specialization of User Experience Design (UED).

User experience design (UX) explores the steps of designing a product, application, website or a system in order to attract the intended target user groups. UXD studies and evaluates how users feel about the product, looking at such things as ease of use, aesthetics, perception of the value of the system, utility, or efficiency. UX designers explore and test out a variety of different approaches to solving specific user problems.

The broad responsibility of a UX designer is to ensure that the product logically flows from one step to the next. They also constantly develop software to keep up with technological advancements and increase user satisfaction.
